Start the day with an Easy Fruit Smoothie!

 

Dr. Schulze's Superfood fruit smoothie

Sometimes we begin our day with a fabulous fruit smoothie made in a base of banana and some form of Rice or Nut milk, and it’s easy to make. Here’s a basic smoothie recipe:

Easy Fruit Smoothie featuring Dr. Schulze’s Superfood

1 1/2 – 2 cups Rice milk or your favorite nut milk
1 frozen whole banana (you may use unfrozen, but frozen makes it more refreshing)
1/2 cup of your favorite frozen or unfrozen fruit (strawberries, blueberries, peaches, etc.)
1/2 cup of fruit juice to sweeten or a dollop of honey

Add all of the above in the blender. You may also add one or more of the following ingredients to super-charge your smoothie:

Freshly ground flaxseed
Dr. Schulze’s Superfood
MSM Powder
Chia or Hemp seeds
Cayenne extract (just a drop or two or more if you are not the faint of heart. And it is an excellent herb for the heart!)

Press BLEND and let it go to work for at least a minute or so and viola! you have yourself a nutritious and energetic Easy Fruit Smoothie. You can use any combination of fruits to create the taste you like.

    When you add green powder or MSM powder these smoothies become a super smoothie. Some times adding green powder or MSM powder will require some sweetener to make it a pleasure drink. I always think of drinks that are slightly bitter as medicine that will keep me or make me healthier.
